Taiwan Trip 2015 - Day 3 - Chikan Tower also known as Fort Provintia
Day 3, started our tour by a visit to Chikan Tower also known as Fort Provintia, the attraction is just opposite our hotel.
Fort Provintia or Providentia was a Dutch outpost on Formosa at a site now located in the West Central District of Tainan in Taiwan. It was built in 1653 during the Dutch colonization of Taiwan. The Dutch, intending to strengthen their standing, sited the fort at Sakam, about 2 miles (3.2 km) due east from modern-day Anping.[1] The fort was surrendered to Koxinga and later destroyed by an earthquake in the 19th century. It was rebuilt as Chihkan Tower. For more information, please read from wikipedia.
Admission is NT50 per adult.
Was a nice walk in the attraction in the cool weather. Was raining everyday since we arrived in Tainan but luckily the rain was not heavy.
Saw this cute bird trying to catch the fishes in the pond.

PLEASE ASK PERMISSION BEFORE YOU RE POST MY PHOTOS ON TO YOUR BLOG. THERE ARE SOME BLOGGERS WHO DID NOT ASK MY PERMISSION AND REPOST MY PHOTOS WITHOUT THE COURTESY OF LINKING BACK TO MY BLOG. THIS IS LIKE STEALING.
PEOPLE, I HAVE SPEND MUCH TIME TAKING PHOTOS AND DOING HOMEWORK ON MY TRAVELLING INFORMATION AND KINDLY SHARE THESE INFORMATION TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THEM.
IF NECESSARY I WILL POST SCREEN SHOT OF YOUR BLOG TO SHOW YOUR BAD MANNERS OF STEALING MY PHOTOS.
THE MOST DISGUSTING THING THEY DID WAS TO SCREEN SHOT MY PHOTO AND CORP OFF MY BLOG TITLE AND REPOST IN THEIR BLOGS AS THEIR OWN.
