Taiwan Trip 2015 - Day 4 - Taipei - Riverview Hotel Ximending
Time to depart Tainan for Taipei. We took a taxi from the hotel to Tainan HSR Train Station. Costs us around NT450. Was around 30 minutes journey. As we had already booked our train ticket online so we save some time and money. Booking online can have discount from 10 to 25 % discount. You can read how to book the tickets online from
my old post.
The train journey took around 1 hour 45 mins to reach from Tainan to Taipei. We took the metro from Taipei Main Station to Ximen MRT Station but it soon rains so had to catch a cab to the hotel which is just round the corner. The starting meter for the Taipei Cab is NT 70 and on reaching the hotel is still NT 70.
We could only check in at 3 pm at Riverview Hotel, so we left the luggages with the reception and hunt for our lunch.
Headed to FE21 mall which is at Exit 3 of Ximen Station. There's a food court at the basement. Saw a stall selling Singapore Food, OMG, I already missed Singapore food hahaha. Hubby had the pork chop set while I had the Singapore Chicken Rice. After lunch, we browse around the mall and Ximending before heading back to the hotel for a rest.
Riverview hotel is a rather old hotel but there's some renovation already done in some rooms on certain floors. Our room looked very clean and the beds are so comfortable and good pillows but the bathroom looked so outdated but was clean.

PLEASE ASK PERMISSION BEFORE YOU RE POST MY PHOTOS ON TO YOUR BLOG. THERE ARE SOME BLOGGERS WHO DID NOT ASK MY PERMISSION AND REPOST MY PHOTOS WITHOUT THE COURTESY OF LINKING BACK TO MY BLOG. THIS IS LIKE STEALING.
PEOPLE, I HAVE SPEND MUCH TIME TAKING PHOTOS AND DOING HOMEWORK ON MY TRAVELLING INFORMATION AND KINDLY SHARE THESE INFORMATION TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THEM.
IF NECESSARY I WILL POST SCREEN SHOT OF YOUR BLOG TO SHOW YOUR BAD MANNERS OF STEALING MY PHOTOS.
THE MOST DISGUSTING THING THEY DID WAS TO SCREEN SHOT MY PHOTO AND CORP OFF MY BLOG TITLE AND REPOST IN THEIR BLOGS AS THEIR OWN.
