This is the famous Songsan Sunrise Peak, where if you go up the peak, you can view the whole city of Jeju Island. But I did not climb to the top, cause it was really high. Only my niece went up to the top.
The above photo looked like a billboard but it is the real mountain scenery.
The photo was taken by my inexpensive camera, it was cropped because I did not get the permission from the group to have their photos posted in my blog. My wide angle camera managed to snap the whole mountain. Yipeee. It looked misty cause it was so cold over here.
The popular statues of Jeju Island.
The Jeju Island is part of a volcano. The island's mixture of volcanic rock, frequent rains, and temperate climate, make it very similar to the Hawaiian Islands in the U.S
This woman diver (a familar sight in Jeju) selling some sea food at the mountain.
Noticed the goggles on her head. She need no oxygen tank, etc to dive in to collect oysters, abalone, etc to make a living. All she need was goggles.

Hi Alice,Hi . Glad to land here again...
This is incredible. One week working and I come back look what I see: some wonderful posts with beautiful pictures and interesting stories of a country I've never been to :(. There are many, even if it doesn't seem so... ;)
The Island looks beautiful and I'm sure you could climb; now confess, you preferred to stay by the beach eating oysters and abalone. How I understand you... ;))
Also loved the statues, but wouldn't eat porridge to make the tour..., and the misty temple - beautiful!
That fish spa also looks great; maybe be a bit too ticklish... ;)
Thanks for your comments at Blogtrotter, where you may now see the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao. Hope you enjoy it!
Have a great weekend!

Hi trotter, Thanks for your comments. Hahaha, you are wrong. I love abalone but I wont take these street vendors cause they dont have clean water to clean the abalone, I am afraid of food poisoning. Yes, Korea is a nice place, I enjoyed it so much.
