Genting Highlands, Malaysia - Theme Park-Haunted House

Genting Highlands has an indoor theme park and a outdoor theme park. Great for the kids and those young at heart.

This is cute. The skeleton man trying to promote his haunted house. I never like going into one...hahaha...it is just too scary.

A short video of the skeleton man.

Malaysia - Genting Highlands - Fire Drill

I heard a lot of siren near the hotel where we stay in Genting Highlands. There was a fire drill and at first I thought it was for real.

Malaysia - Genting Highlands - Rest Stop

After clearing immigration at the Tuas 2nd link, we cross over the bridge towards Malaysia.

There are two links connecting Singapore and Malaysia. The first link is at Woodlands which is always very congested. The 2nd link is at Tuas where traffic are smoother.
You can read more about the links from wikipedia.

After travelling for about one and half hour, we finally arrived at Yong Peng. This is the rest stop before we proceed to our destination. We are only allowed half an hour to go for our toilet break and a fast meal.

The rest stop is not crowded cause it is low peak season. Low peak season meant it is not school holidays or public holiday in Singapore, otherwise the rest stop will be very crowded especially with Singaporean Tourists. That is why I always travelled during low peak season to avoid the crowd.

Hubby and myself had a light meal cause of the long journey.

Hubby had Lor Mai Kai (glutinous rice) and I had Chee Cheong Fun (rice noodle roll).

Malaysia - Genting Highlands

Hubby and I decided to head to Genting Highlands, Malaysia for a short trip to relax. I think I deserved the trip cause I had a rough time with my busy commitments.

Woke up so early to catch the coach to Malaysia. Arrived at Grassland's office in Beach Road before 7.15 am to collect our coach and hotel vouchers. The coach departed from Beach Road at 7.30 am sharp and arrived at the Tuas (2nd link) Immigration about 8.10 am.

The coach is so comfortable. We opted for the coach with entertainment and spacious seats.

It is a good thing that I brought a long my small pillow for a more comfortable ride. The whole trip in the coach is about six and half hours with two toilet breaks in between.
