After about 2 and half hour flight trip , we arrived safely in Bangkok. Took the Airport Link Train from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Ratchaprarop Station.From Ratchaprarop Station, we walked for about 10 mins to Berkeley Hotel, Pratunam.
There's lift and escalators in the station. From alighting from the train, we took the lift to 2nd level (does not go ground level). Then it was supposed to lead us to the escalators but that day both escalators are upgoing and not down going. OMG, so we carried our luggages one flight of stairs down.
Ten minutes walk from station to hotel. As if that's not enough, we went in early May, the weather was a killer. It was so hot. Luckily there's some shelter from shops along the walkway.
I booked the triple room which is about 58 sq m. It was really huge and enough for 3 of us to walk about and for our luggages.

As it was my friend's birthday, I requested the hotel for a complimentary cake. So happy they had it ready when we checked into the room.
Very nice hotel and friendly and helpful staff.
