Taiwan Trip 2015 - Night shopping at Focus and Shinkong Mitsukoshi Shopping Mall in Tainan
In Taiwan, the only thing you would like to do at night is to visit the night market. But Tainan is so different from Taipei, as long as it rains and it only drizzle, the night market will not fully operational. And the night markets do not open everyday so you need to know which days the night markets open. As advised by the hotel's staff not to bother to visit the night market cause only few stalls will be operating cause of the rain, so sad. I decided to leave the night market thingy to Day 3 night. (Will tell you more about the night market in Day 3 post).
We decided to take a stroll from our hotel to Tainan Railway Station, took us around 20 minutes and if you have long legs and can walked very fast, think only 10 minutes. There were several shops near the station that worth taking a look if you are into shopping for fashion.
Decided to walked back to Focus and Shinkong Mitsukoshi Malls, chanced upon rows of street food, not many stalls open cause of the rain.
Bought myself a bowl of taiwanese mee sua, costs me only NT30. Hubby was very fussy and do not like the mee sua .
Headed to the food court in Shinkong Mitsukoshi Mall for hubby's dinner. Japanese curry rice.
Got myself some baos.
After dinner, we head to Focus Mall .
If you a fan of Daiso, there's one in Focus.
After all the walking and shopping (did not shop much), we decided to head back hotel to rest.
Before going back to the hotel, we detour to the family mart (near our hotel), bought some hot sweet potato and coffee for supper. Yummy.
