We decided to venture further away from Kyoto Station for lunch, we crossed over to the other side of Kyoto Station to have late lunch at the food court in Aeon Mall. When inside Kyoto Station, look for Hachijo Exit.
Crossed over to the other side of the road and look for Aeon Mall. Easily visible from the main road.
Aeon Mall is a mid size shopping mall comprises of 5 floors of shopping(food court, restaurants, cinema, shops,daiso, supermarket, etc). Aeon Mall is made up of two buildings, the Sakura Building and the Kaede Building. The food court is on the 4th floor in Sakura Building.
Our lunch is less than 1000 yen each, I think the noodle is around 680 yen while the beef rice is around 1000 yen. Dont expect to have meal that cost S$3 or S$4 in Japan, for cheaper meal, can be found in convenience mart or the supermarket.
Alternatively, can buy meals that cost few hundred yen from the supermarket.
Daiso could be found in the other building of Aeon Mall. It's on the 4th floor of Kaede Building and can be acessed via the link between the two building.
