Finally, the excitement of going up Bana Hill(similar to Malaysia Genting Highlands). The tour guide need check in the hotel at the foot of Bana Hill, then we took the cable car up to Bana Hill.
Bana Hill was originally developed by the French in the early 20th century as a hill resort to escape the summer heat.
Bana Hill now houses The Fantasy Park and hotels. One can experienced four seasons in one day at Bana Hills due to its unique climate and elevation changes.
- When we were there, it was so cold as there was slight drizzling. Most visitors only spend one day at Bana Hill but our tour packaged included one night stay in Bana Hill In Mercure Hotel.
- It was chaotic checking in at the hotel twice, once at the foot of Bana Hill, another at the top of Bana Hill.
Luckily for us, our tour guide do all the checking in of rooms for us.
After the tour guide check in hotel rooms at the foot of Bana Hill, we get to take the cable cars up to the top of Bana Hill . Was like about 20 minutes ride.
It was drizzling at that time and quite chilling, need a thick jacket.

The hotel rooms was nice and cozy. No need air conditioning as the weather is very chilling especially at night.
I like the most was the misty view from the hotel balcony from our room.
A 30 minutes rest and we were off to our next itinearary in Bana Hill
