This is the lovely hotel we stayed in Mykonos Island, it was beautiful and the breakfast was sumptuous with lots of varities. We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay here.
Great breakfast, happy we had enough time to enjoy our breakfast and relax.
After our breakfast, we embark one of the local ferries to Delos, an islet of the Aegean, nowadays uninhabited, one of the most import archaeological sites in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Delos is the legendary birthplace of the twin gods. Apollo and Artemis. Remains of the temples and residences on Delos are dating back from the Neolithic to the Roman periods.
The tour includes a visit of the remains of the Temple of Apollo, the Sanctuary of Artemis, the old city and the Theater and a walk down the celebrated Lion Street.
After the tour of Delos, we took the ferry back to the Mykonos Island and had a good lunch.
After lunch, we went to tour the cosmapolitan Mykonos town with its whitewashed cubic houses, windmills and chapels. Discover the narrow streets with traditional shops and restaurants, little Venice with the famous windmills and a number of small chapels around nearly every corner.
After the tour, we took the coach back to our hotel and rest till dinner time. Hubby and me had beef meat ball and spaghetti for dinner in the hotel restaurant.
Happy that we managed to get to Mykonos Island despite the transport strike.
