Fireflies Viewing at Desaru

On our way to take the cruise to view fireflies, soon it will be very very dark.

These are the boats that we would take. Can you imagine about 40 people in one boat.
We need to put on life jackets. The life jackets seem so wear off. Some are without buckles and the zip dont work. I have to choose one with workable buckles but the zip dont worked at all. Looked so scary.

We need to wear walking shoes and not flip flops cause the stairs leading to the small jetty is so steep and dangerous. I am so scare of the stairs, it only have very small steps for us to step and most of the time it is very flat and steep.

Too bad I cant take photo of the fireflies in the dark, it is just too dark and my photo turned out all black...lol.

But it was fun, the fireflies looked like twinkling lights in the trees, just like christmas trees in the homes. There are so many of them.
If it rain, the whole fireflies viewing tour will be cancelled.

Desaru - Swallows Flying

We were on our way to view fireflies along the river, the boat man bought us under the bridge to view many swallows flying under and over the bridge. It is a beautiful sight but we were afraid to have foreign objects dropping on us....lol

The video was too short due to so many excitement on the boat....lol

The nest made by the swallows under the bridge.

Next post will be funny with all of us wearing the life jackets before boarding the boats.

Busy Bee at Desaru Fruit Farm

Happy New Year to my blog visitors and may 2009 be a better year for all of us.
Just as the busy bee, hope the economy will be busy with lots of activities and that generates income and job for all.

These bee hives in the fruit farm are not for collecting honey, they are there so that bees can help pollinate the flowers in the fruit farms so that more trees can bear more fruits.
