Twin Tower, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

This will be my final part posting on my trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I am very impressed with the twin towers. They looked so tall and beautiful.

A close up view of the sky bridge. You could go to the basement where the ticket office was and get free tickets to go up the sky bridge to view the city from the sky bridge. The ticket office opened at 8 am and you need to be early to queue for tickets. We went there around nine plus in the morning and our tickets for the sky bridge viewing was 5.30 pm, it was frustrating as we dont have time to go back at 5.30 pm so we never collect the tickets.

View of the twin tower from the inside of the KLCC shopping mall.

At night the twin towers were lighted up and it looked so beautiful.
For more information of the twin towers in Kuala lumpur, you could view their website.

Suria KLCC Shopping Mall

This is Suria KLCC Shopping Mall. It is the same place where the twin towers was. There are 6 levels of shopping outlets. For more information you could view their website.

From the highest floor, I could view a very beautiful vintage car. Not sure if the car was a prize for lucky draw or was it a display set.

This is the lift lobby. It looked very nice.

The mall looked very beautiful. But I was so tired visiting too many malls in KL...lol

Rows of cakes being sold in the open...looked very interesting.

Dishes of cooked food....looked very delicious but look out for the houseflies...lol...They should covered the food. Am I too fussy....lol.

I dont have a strong stomach for food being sold in the open. Had a bad experience in Thailand because of my greed for food sold in the open...lol.

Chow Kit Place-Market Scene (Part 2)

This part of the market is too narrow and too many people so hubby and me decided not to go in.

From the outside of the market, I could see they sell may different types of fruits and vegetables. Very interesting.

Not sure what is this fruit called.

A poultry stall. You dont see this type of open air stalls in Singapore, our chickens and pork need to be kept in chillers for hygiene purposes.

A woman selling all kinds of plants and herbs.

Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur (Part 2)-Street Scenes

In the background, is the Mydin Wholesale Complex and Chinatown/petaling street is behind the wholesale complex. I bought some souvenirs in this wholesale complex which are cheaper than those sold in Bukit Bintang.

Street Vendors pushing their carts to chinatown to sell them.

It is so interesting to photograph these street scenes.

Penang Laksa could be found outside Penang. It tasted different from Singapore Laksa. We would called Penang Laksa as Assam Laksa because of the sour taste.

Chinatown - Petaling Street Kuala Lumpur (Part 1)

It was a beautiful day, so we decided to walk from our hotel in Bukit Bintang via Swiss Garden and when we saw the wholesale complex and chinatown, petaling Street is just behind this complex. Very simple to find our way there.

Interesting street to walk around and looked at the stores selling different types of things.

This store is selling malaysia local products. I saw a familar brand. It was nutmeg oil which I had been using since I was a child. So you guess it, I bought some nutmeg oil and some local products for snacks.

Street Scene around Bukit Bintang

These are street scenes around Bukit Bintang.

From the view of our hotel, we could see the carpark that was near the food street.

Bukit Bintang Street

Night View around Bukit Bintang

This is the Bukit Bintang Monorail Station. At night there were many people around these areas, mostly are tourists.

Not sure why the people are holding flags in their cars. I wondered if some election is going on. Although I dont enjoyed the shopping, the street scenes were very interesting.

Malaysia Tourism Centre

This is the tourism centre in Kuala Lumpur. Tourist could get information about the country from here and also view some local culture in here.

I love the pottery sculpture, I think they are so beautiful.
