Day 6 - Chongqing Raffles City and Chongqing Night Cruise

Day 6 - we visited Raffles City in Chongqing. It looked just like a replica of Singapore MBS Hotel , that's because they were both designed by the world renowned Israeli Canadian Architect Moshe Safdie of Safdie Architects.

So glad to find Burger King in Raffles City Chongqing. After so many days of chinese food, we welcome the sight of some burgers, fried chicken wings and french fries kekeke.

After dinner, it was time to walk to the nearby cruise centre to board the ship to tour the night scene of Chongqing from the ship.

From the ship we could view the wonderful city of Chongqing with all the buidlings lighted up.

The cruise ships navigate from the Jialing River in the north, to the confluence of the Jialing and Yangtze River in the middle, and to the Yangtze River in the south. During the cruise, one can view the central Yuzhong peninsula and Nanan and Jiangbei districts, with highlights including passing by traditional Ba-Yu stilted buildings of Hongya Cave, the dazzling light shows of Raffles City Chongqing at the peninsula's tip and Grand Theater, the large-scale ancient relics complex - Huguang Guild Hall, Chongqing's “The Bund” - Nanbin Road, Longmenhao Old Street with multilayered old-style buildings, and resplendent Sheraton Twin Towers, and sailing beneath the grand Qiansimen Bridge, Dongshuimen Bridge, with the nation's first aerial manned river cableway overhead. source  

Day 6 - Hongya Cave Scenic Area

• Hongya Cave Scenic Area. Characterized by the traditional Bayu architectural style "Diaojiao floor", it is now on the rise as the new leisure entertainment location.

During the day, Hongya Cave looked very ordinary but at night, the lights come out and it will be so beautiful. Best placed to view Hongya Cave must be from the cruise ship.

Too many people at Hongya Cave to enjoy the sights.

Day 6 - Chongqing - Kuixing Building- Chongqing “Magic building"

Next sightseeing must be this magic building called Kuixing Building. Our bus arrived on the street level but so strange it is actually Level 22, so we need take the lift down to Level 1.

As usual we took lots of photo, from street level where we alighted, we looked down and saw level 1 hahaha, so we are actually on Level 22.

Day 6 - Chongqing - Tankao Mali Steak Seafood Self-service Barbecue (Bayi Plaza Branch)

Day 6, we will be having barbecue lunch at the vibrant shopping street in Chongqing. The barbecue lunch was fantastic, very cheap price for the vast and many different varities dishes and the drinks are free flow with so many types of drinks from coffee, tea, soft drinks in individual bottle, we can just grab any number of bottles of coke, sprite, etc but cannot takeover, need dine in.

The shopping street was full of tall and modern buildings. 

It was raining very hard that day. Our last two days of sightseeing smacked with rainfall.

People's Liberation Monument in Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Great  street to be in if not for the rain.

We had few hours of free time taking our lunch and some shopping in Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street.

We had a great time and filled our stomach with delicious food and went shopping after that hahaha. Happiest day in our whole trip kekeke.
