Planning for my South Korea Trip 2013

Was happy to be able to get the Singapore Airlines's promotion ticket to Seoul. Planning to visit Seoul and Busan, South Korea soon. Had already visited Seoul twice and this will be my third trip but will be the first visit to Busan. My previous two trips to Seoul were packaged tours conducted by the local travel agent. This time, hubby and me doing a DIY tour of Seoul and Busan.

The fare of S$728.80 was return trip to Seoul per adult on Economy Seat by Singapore Airlines. Could get cheaper fare by budget airline but prefer to have some comfort and ease by flying Singapore Airlines as the flight journey would take about six and half hours from Singapore to Seoul. Some budget airlines had very bad reputation of cancelling their flight at the last minute and will be very problematic for us as we are going without any travel agents and the hotel's bookings will be affected too. You can view the official website of Singapore Airlines for more information on the promotion air tickets.

I normally take budget airlines if the flight journey is less than 4 hours but for longer flight journey prefer to take the commercial airlines for some comfort and luxury.

Made a trip to the Korea Tourism Board at Korea Plaza, Samsung Hub, #01-02, 3 Church Street, Singapore 049483 to collect some maps and brochures. Wow the information on the map and brochures are really very good and informative, will be really handy and useful to us for our trip.

Now I can start planning on the itinerary for my coming trip to Seoul and Busan.
