Bangkok Trip 2018 - Day 2 - Terminal 21 Shopping Mall

Originally was planning to visit the night market at Rod Fai Market 2 (Ratchada). Location: Ratcadaphisek Road (close to Esplanade Shopping Mall) - access by BTS Train at the nearby Cultural Centre MRT Underground Station.

But it was raining very heavily and loud thunder and lightning, so we had to plan indoor shopping and dinner. So we decided to change plan and visited Terminal 21 Shopping Mall for dinner and shopping instead.

Terminal 21 brings the dream of traveling the world to downtown Bangkok, with its cutting-edge concept that places several world-famous cities under one roof. Find yourself wandering around a maze of shops in Tokyo City, sauntering down London’s Carnaby Street, bagging a bargain in an Istanbul zouk, or shopping for something to fill your growling stomach at the Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.

It was interesting and really a nice place to take photos, every floor is different.

Even the rest rooms on every floor looked different.

Spotted Singapore Hawker Chan Restaurant at the San Francisco level.

After visiting Chatuchak Weekend Market, we took the BTS Train to Siam Station and visited Mahboonkrong Mall, Siam Centre, Siam Discovery Mall. They are situated next to each other or within walking distance. Managed to do some shopping and got what I needed, so happy hahaha. Too busy shopping to take photos of the interior of the mall lol. After shopping in Mahboonkrong Mall, we headed over to Siam Centre and Siam Discovery Mall.

Had great time taking photos at Siam Discovery Mall.

From our hotel, we took the BTS from Phaya Thai Station and alight at Mo Chit BTS Station and exit at Exit 3.

There's two ways to walk to the weekend market, one was walked along the pathway and turn right to the alley towards the market, the other way was walked into the park and exit from the side of the park. It was a very short walk from the BTS station to the weekend market.

Try to be adventurous with the food stall, as we had heavy buffet breakfast, we just went from stall to stall and try the various food on stick.

A must try must be the popular ice cream in the coconut. There's 3 steps to take to order. Read the menu and order from there and remember to take a cup of coconut drink.
