First trip in 2024, we decided to go on a package tour to Central Vietnam. It was only 5 days trip but lots of fun and lots of food. I feel very bloated after much eating hahaha and really enjoyed myself .
Was really about 14 years since I last went on a package tour. Most of the time, hubby and me DIY our tour despite our senior age kekeke. But as we were going with siblings, decided best to go on package tour as all are senior folks.
Took Singapore Airlines that fly direct to Danang International Airport. It was a morning flight and took about less than 3 hours to reach Danang.
The plane had inflight entertainment. The older planes does not have inflight entertainment as they used the old Silkair planes.
Before boarding the plane, we walked around the transit area in Changi Airport Terminal 2 which was recently renovated. It was beautiful. Singapore Airport is really welcoming and lots of instagram spots to take photos. Love going to our airport to eat and shop and take lots of photos even when I am not travelling.
The plane is quite spacious for our Asian height.
As the flight is less than 3 hours, we were served our meals in paper box instead of the nice porcelain cutlery. I hated these paper box especially the spoon and fork are all cardboard , hard to eat with them.
But the food is good. As it was a morning flight , we were served breakfast. Of course , we choose mee siam for our meal, it smells delicious and tasted good too. It comes with a bottle of mineral water, bread, dessert and drinks (can choose coffee, tea, soft drinks, etc)
Always love taking photo of the clouds from the plane.
Finally, after about 3 hours, we reached Danang International Airport. Danang is so different from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. It not so chaotic with numerous motorbikes that congested the cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.
Will visit Danang again , love it.
