Day 3, sightseeing in the morning in Zaragoza. We visited the Cathedral of El Pilar.
It is reputed to be the first church dedicated to Mary in history.

Plaza del Pilar is the largest pedestrian plaza in the European Union. It is also called Plaza de las Catedrales (in English: Plaza of the Cathedrals), because it has the two cathedrals of Zaragoza. (source)

At the back of the altar is a niche which exposes a small, worn, bit of the stone pillar where we can touch the column.
