Okinawa, Japan Trip 2020 - Day 6 - Bye Bye Okinawa Japan
Day 6, our last day in Okinawa(travelled in January 2020). After checking out of Hotel Gracery, we dragged our bags out around 6 am and walked only about 5 mins to the monorail station. Our flight was 9 am and we need to be at the airport for security check at least two hours before departure. We managed to take the second monorail train (the first train is around 6.05 am). Surprised to see the train packed with mostly people going to the airport.
Jetstar was very strict in the check in luggage weight as well as the hand carry luggage weight. We dont have a problem with the weight cause we just wore our winter coat instead of putting in our luggage hahaha (the winter coat is really heavy).
After checking in our bags and collecting the boarding passes, we went to have our breakfast in the airport. There's lot of eateries and restaurants in the airport that open in the morning.
Great view of the runway from the departure gate.
Home Sweet Home - greeted by our Jewel at Changi International Airport on arrival.
This bring me to the end of my Okinawa travel story. As the covid 19 is here to stay for some time, I wont be travelling too soon. Many countries are badly affected by the virus and many death reported. It is so sad. We are now experiencing a partial lock down in Singapore which will end on 4th May 2020. Hopefully there's no extension. I cant even go anywhere except to go to buy my groceries. I cant even visit my siblings. We have to co operate with the authorities to fight this virus. Hope all will be back to normal for the whole world .
I am not sure if there's anything I will post in this travel blog since I wont be travelling for a while unless there's something interesting regarding travel, will I continued with the story writting. Thank you for visiting my blog and come back again to visit when I resume my travelling.
Good heatlh and happiness to all. :)

Okinawa, Japan Trip 2020 - Day 5 - Dinner at Han's Steakhouse
Our last night in Okinawa, suddenly it was raining dogs and cats. We could not walked along the street as the rain was very heavy. We were very lucky that throughtout our 5 days in Okinawa we did not have any rain interrupting our sightseeing but the last night it suddenly rain. So we decided to just crossed diagonally from our hotel to Hans Steakhouse.
There's not many customers in the restaurant as the rain deter customers from dining there. We had great seats just facing the streets. Was lovely looking out at the rain and the people and traffic.
We ordered the same thing as Day 1 dinner, half lobster baked in garlic and steak tenderloin.
We ordered some garlic bread too.
We enjoyed our dinner and our last night were spend packing our shopping and stuff. We need to wake very early the next day as it was a morning flight.

Okinawa, Japan Trip 2020 - Day 5 - American Village (Travelled in January 2020) - Part 2 - American Village
Finally, we reached the American Village, a mere 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. Was a hot day despite being winter in January. The place looked like a fun place.
The main attraction that caught our eye is the ferris wheel.
Looked like a sleepy town, not much people around.
We wandered around the place and took lots of photos.
We walked towards the famous Blue Seal Ice Cream restaurant.
Had a mixed vanilla and taro flavour ice cream. Was super nice.
The place had lots of nice places to take instagram photos. Haha my hubby is my photographer and help me with all the photo taking.
The American Village is located near the sea and with a nice beach. But I was too tired to walk towards the edge of the beach in the hot weather and carrying my winter coat. The weather can be hot at one moment and cold at another moment.
There's a big Aeon Mall here too. Lots of shopping to be done here with a big supermarket.
We went to the food court and the price here is cheaper than what we had in Naha.
After a long day, we walked towards the main road to take the bus back to Naha. The bus stop is on the opposite side where we first alighted.
Spotted a retro billboard of A&W advertisement, beautiful.
The bus journey back to Naha is 45 mintues and the fare is 740 yen. We almost doze off in the bus.
