Hanoi/Sapa Trip 2025 - Day 2- Bus trip to Sapa from Hanoi with lunch break at Lao Cai (5 over hours of bus ride)

This will be our mini bus accompany us throughout our 6 days 5 nights in Vietnam started yesterday when we arrived at the airport.

Early in the morning,the street are quiet and very clean.

7.50 am we are already out of the hotel and on the way to Sapa.  The road after the city was so bumpy, not advisable for pregnant women to go on this bumpy ride.

Half way through our journey , we arrived at the first toilet break. Need pay a fee to use the toilet.

After another bus journey of about 2 hours, we arrived at Lao Cai to have our lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we proceed for another 45 mins to Sapa which is a bit winding but I find it bearable not as windy as what others claimed. If you been to Cameron Highlands, the road is even more winding than Sapa , my personal opinion but been years that I last visited Cameron Highlands, Malaysia.

We even prepared plastic bag incase we have motion sickness hahaha but all good. Except for the bumpy road, all is fine for the road trip from Hanoi to Sapa.

Hanoi/Sapa Trip 2025 - Day 2 - Hotel morning breakfast buffet in Amazing Hotel, Hanoi

Day 2- looking forward to the morning breakfast buffet, nice cozy sitting area.  Always love having breakfast buffet in Vietnam, a lot of varities of local food. As we will be taking a more than 5 hours bus ride, we had to remind ourselves not to overeat hahaha.

Dragon fruits, passion fruits and guava and more fruits which I did not take photo of.

Hanoi/Sapa Trip 2025 - Day 1 - Amazing Hotel, Hanoi

After dinner, we were whisked to our hotel to stay for one night in Hanoi before heading to Sapa on Day2 for our adventure in Sapa and Fansipan.

Our first night stay in Sunway Hotel in Hanoi City, we will return to stay another two nights after our Sapa trip. The hotel is no where near Hoan Kiem Lake where I visited and stay in 2012 .

A four star hotel, very clean and cozy and the mornng breakfast buffet was excellent.

Our twin beds in the room looked big and spacious.

Complimentary 2 bottles of mineral water, coffee and tea in the room.

The toilet only comes with shower no bath tub.

Toiletries provided.

Hanoi/Sapa Trip 2025 - Day 1 - Vietnamese Dinner at Madame Linh Restaurant, Hanoi.

As soon as we landed at Hanoi International Airport, we were driven to a Vietnamese Restaurant for our dinner.

Noodles to be eaten with the grilled fish. Known as Cha ca long, is noodles served with grilled fish in tumeric with sauce.
