Day 10 - Santonrini to Athens Part 1 - Factory Outlet in Athens

Transfer to Santorini Airport for our flight back to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, we visited the Factory Outlet where we can find designer brands 30% to 70% cheaper.
We shop a little for souvenir in Santorini Airport. Spotted some Greek Chocolates but we did not buy. We planned to buy the chocolates on our last day departure in Athens Airport.
The air stewardess in the domestic plane from Santorini Airport to Athens. It was only about 1 hour flight so no drinks or food served. Hand carry bag are free and allowed one piece only, please do not carry big bags or big luggages up the plane, they will charge if it did not meet the airlines requirement on the size of the bags. Saw one couple need pay 60 euro for their oversize hand carry luggage.

After one hour of flight, we landed in Athens airport  and soon we visited the premium outlet in Athens.

We had lunch at Goody Fast Food restaurant. (Goody fast food restaurant is quite famous in Athens according to the guide.)

Their burgers are really huge, one burger can easily shared by two people hahaha. The price is quite reasonable. We had two burgers, drinks, french fries and onion rings and cost us around S$30+ for four of us.

If you ever visit Greece, you just have to try their burgers, it is really tasty and huge.

After a quick lunch, it was shopping time.

First thing I visited was the supermarket.

Last year, I visited Spain and bought some dried figs, this round, I just need to check our Greece supermrket and bought few boxes of the dried figs.

We then went to shop for some shoes and clothes on sales.

Day 9 Santorini Island Part 2 - Pyrgos Village and Village of Oia

Day 9, after breakfast, tour to Pyrgos, a village found at the highest point of Santorini, with panoramic views of the whole island all the way to the village of Oia, which will be our final point of destination.

I love how the blue dome  roof stands out among all the white buildings.

After sightseeing Pyrgos Village, we took the coach and visit Oia Village.

The village of Oia is the most photographed place in Greece, best known for its best stop of the day is thatching sunsets. The village is approximately 150 metres above sea level. This distance is covered by waling up the traditional steps (250 steps) or by riding donkeys.  Smallwhite houses tier the hillside, interspersed by splashes of rich okra, deep fuchsia, cobalt blue , ayster pink and earthy red.

There's lots of shops along the narrow alleys between the many white and blue buildings. If visit during Summer, it would be super crowded. Glad we came during Autumn where the crowd is lesser.

Donkeys spotted in one of the alleys.
After spending much time walking and sightseeing among all the white buildings, we rested and have dinner while waiting for the sun to set. The restaurant is high up on the hill top and we had a very good view of the sun setting and the great ocean. The weather is very cooling too. We actually felt very chilling especially when the sun is setting. The restaurant staff had to light up the heater to keep the customers warm.

We order some salmon, pull meat and tacos.

We also ordered pork trotters.

Beautiful sun setting.

I really enjoyed myself in Greece, especially in Santorini Island.
