Two majors in a week,that's scary.Which part are you going to?
I am going to Osaka/Tokyo and also staying at Lake Fuji District. Going on 25th March 2011 and will be back by 1st April 2011. Keeping fingers cross.
Check for problems at nuclear plants before you go,hopefully there are no leakages.
