After clearing the immigration in Incheon Airport, we took the Airport Train to Seoul Station. There's many ways to go to Seoul Station from Incheon Airport.
The quickest way was to take the AREX express train which takes about 43 minutes and costs 11000 won for one way. The frequency of the express train is about 20 to 40 minutes.
We took the AREX all stop train which takes about 1 hour to reach Seoul Station but costs only 4150 won from Terminal 1. The frequency of the all stop train is about 5 to 10 minutes.
There's rack for our luggages . We dont have problem finding seats in the train as we were senior citizen so we occupied the senior citizen seats.
Soon we arrived at Seoul Station and looked at the big departure screen for our train platform number. The platform number will appeared on the screen about half an hour before departure.
I booked my tickets online one month before my departure. As I am going to Busan first and back to Seoul to meet up my son, so I need to buy return tickets for the KTX.
It is cheaper to buy the 2 days flexi tickets instead of return tickets. The 2 days flexi tickets can be used within 10 days on departure. If I will to buy return tickets for 1 is around 83,700 for one way. The 2 days flexi tickets cost 121000 won. So is cheaper to buy the 2 days flexi tickets.
After purchasing, we can make seat reservations on the KTX Train with the 2 days flexi tickets.
(Will try to post how I purchase the flexi ticket)
The train had luggage racks at one end of the train car.
The KTX train takes about 2 hours to reach Busan Station from Seoul Station.
After arriving at Busan Station, we looked for the taxi stand.
As per google and from the Busan tourist information centre, the taxi fare will costs around 20,000 won to 25,000 won from Busan Station to Haeundae where our hotel was located. But we made a big mistake of taking the premium taxi (black colour), it costs us 36000 won from Busan Station to Haeundae.
So avoid taking black taxi in Korea.
