Vietnam - Hanoi Trip - Day 4 - Old Quarters - Dong Xuan Market

PLEASE ASK PERMISSION BEFORE YOU RE POST MY PHOTOS ON TO YOUR BLOG. THERE ARE SOME BLOGGERS WHO DID NOT ASK MY PERMISSION AND REPOST MY PHOTOS WITHOUT THE COURTESY OF LINKING BACK TO MY BLOG. THIS IS LIKE STEALING. PEOPLE, I HAVE SPEND MUCH TIME TAKING PHOTOS AND DOING HOMEWORK ON MY TRAVELLING INFORMATION AND KINDLY SHARE THESE INFORMATION TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THEM. IF NECESSARY I WILL POST SCREEN SHOT OF YOUR BLOG TO SHOW YOUR BAD MANNERS OF STEALING MY PHOTOS. THE MOST DISGUSTING THING THEY DID WAS TO SCREEN SHOT MY PHOTO AND CORP OFF MY BLOG TITLE FROM MY PHOTO AND REPOST THEM IN THEIR BLOG.

By day, Dong Xuan market is filled with lots of activity especially for wholesalers. Dong Xuan Market is the largest covered market of Hanoi where the wholesale traders sell everything from clothes, shoes, household goods, etc. The market does not open during the night but during the weekend, i.e. friday, saturday and sunday night, the street outside the market will be closed to traffic and turned to a night shopping street.

It's an interesting place to browse around and take photos but they sell mostly in bulks for wholesales purposes so they are not really interested in the individual shopper and they are really very busy especially in the mornings.

Loves those vietnamese conical hats.

There are altogether three stories in the markets.
