Day 5 - Nanjing/Hangzhou Trip 2017 - Street Scenes and Shopping along Pinghai Road and DongPo Road Hangzhou

Some street scenes and shopping street along Pinghai Road and Dongpo Road, Hangzhou.

This is China's famous chain of chinese restaurant called Grandma's Restaurant (Wai Po Jia), the queue is so terrible, I actually went to this restaurant opposite West Lake 3 times but each time the queue number was so long about more than an hour wait, and one Saturday evening, I purposely went there around 5 plus in the evening, the queue is worse, almost 2 hours, I give up eating in this restaurant.

Ended having our lunch in a Hongkong cafe few doors away from Grandma's Restaurant. Guess this must be the best meal I had during my trip hahaha, was tasty and delicious compared to all those earlier meals that was either salty or bland.

Lots of other options in taking meals near West Lake, did not take many photos of the many restaurants, cafes, etc. There's some food court near West Lake that have very cheap priced meals.

Interesting to see what the locals eat.

Hangzhou is famous for its Dongpo Pork and hence there's a road named after DongPo.

After a long day of sightseeing and shopping, we decided to head back to the hotel to rest our feet.
