Bangkok Trip 2018 - Day 1 - Checking into Hotel Tranz

Our accomodation in Bangkok will be Hotel Tranz, a four star hotel but I think is more like a boutique hotel. No swimming pool and restaurant on the 3rd floor open for breakfast and lunch only. Very new hotel, opened this year in 2018 and very clean and love the interior decor, very instagram worthy photos. The location was just next to Phaya Thai Rail Station (30 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport.) But there's no activity near the hotel except for the airport rail station, the BTS station and the train station. It was not noisy , cant hear the airport rail train nor the BTS train but occasionally can hear the normal train horn when people or vehicles dashed across the railway track when not allowed to. But did not bother us cause we were out most of the times and at night, we were deeply asleep.

The lobby was small but pretty. Checking in and out was a breeze, no queue. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Lobby Bar, we had free welcome drinks.

We had the twin beds and the room was very clean and everything here is very new.

The cupboards does not comes with doors, wished they had at least a curtain.

Complimentary mineral water, coffee area, mini bar (nothing inside). The safe was not drilled into the wall or cupboard, could easily carried away by outsiders but need hotel card to enter the corridor of the hotel. Quite safe.

No scenery view from the windows even though we got the high floors. Only view of the train stations. The thick curtains covered everything so no problem for us. Most importantly, the hotel is very clean and very new. We had a good stay here.

Oh they dont provide bedroom slippers, so we bought these slippers from the night market for 380 baht for two pairs.

Each room comes with their own WIFI router, the WIFI signal was excellent, thumbs up.
