Hanoi/Sapa Trip 2025 - Day 5 - Halong Bay and Dinner in Hanoi

Day 5 will be a long day visiting Halong Bay. This is my second trip to Halong Bay, visited Halong Bay many years back. We took the noon cruise where the crowd is thinner and we had the whole boat for our group. It was nice to have the boat just for our group of 12.

The boat captain cruise around  and shows us many islands and rocks formation. One such formation were these two huge rocks. From one angle we could see only these two rocks.
Once the  boat turned to another angle, the two rocks become one big fish haha, so interesting.
The two rocks really looked like a fish.

We also went for bamboo boat ride for S$10 per person (max 4 people in the boat). Others went for the kayaking.

After having so much fun boating, we went back to the bigger boat to have lunch.
Stemed prawns
Baked oysters
French fries
Soup with clams

Fried Spring Roll
Sweet and sour fried fish
Stir fried squid
Stir fried vegetables
Fruits
After lunch, we alighted the boat and visited the cave.

Thien Cung Cave is a must visit cave in Halong Bay, it was one of the most beautiful limestone caves.

The stalactites hanging down like pillars and many rocks formation in the caves too.

Some of the rocks formation resembles the Earth God.
Another looked like a couple

This resembled the Goddess of Mercy.
After spending the whole day in Halong Bay, time to return back to Hanoi via the expressway that took us 2 hours bus ride with one toilet break.
