We booked our 3 nights stay at Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto through Agoda. Guess we booked too fast and without the free cancellation, they had another promotion with breakfast that could have save us S$100 but as we did not have free cancellation, we did not rebook the promotion price deal. But for our 4 nights stay in Sarasa Hotel Shisaibaishi, Osaka, we booked with free cancellation and we save S$200 when we rebooked the promotion deal and cancel the first booking. Yayyy.
Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto(numbered 16 in the map) is located just oppposite the Kyoto Train Station. It was so convenient with the bus station infront of the hotel,shops,restaurants, malls just nearby. We just dragged our lugggage from Kyoto Train Station and crossed over to the hotel. As the check in time was 3pm, we left our luggages with the reception and went for early lunch and some sightseeing. When we returned to the hotel around 3 pm, they had already send our luggages up to our room. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. The check out time for Hotel New Hankyu, Kyoto is 11 am.
Free complimentary drinks in the room, the water in the bath has drinkable tap but we bought extra mineral water(1 litre) from nearby Lawson Minimart (not expensive around 100 yen).
