Hong Kong/Zhuhai/Macau Trip 2012 - Day 1 -Making our way to IBIS Hong Kong Hotel Northpoint

PLEASE ASK PERMISSION BEFORE YOU RE POST MY PHOTOS ON TO YOUR BLOG. THERE ARE SOME BLOGGERS WHO DID NOT ASK MY PERMISSION AND REPOST MY PHOTOS WITHOUT THE COURTESY OF LINKING BACK TO MY BLOG. THIS IS LIKE STEALING. PEOPLE, I HAVE SPEND MUCH TIME TAKING PHOTOS AND DOING HOMEWORK ON MY TRAVELLING INFORMATION AND KINDLY SHARE THESE INFORMATION TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THEM. IF NECESSARY I WILL POST SCREEN SHOT OF YOUR BLOG TO SHOW YOUR BAD MANNERS OF STEALING MY PHOTOS. THE MOST DISGUSTING THING THEY DID WAS TO SCREEN SHOT MY PHOTO AND CORP OFF MY BLOG TITLE AND REPOST IN THEIR BLOG.

We made our way to Northpoint MTR Station and looked for the sign to direct us to our hotel, we exited at A1 and after climbing some stairs, we turn right and IBIS Hong Kong Northpoint Hotel is only few steps away.
The colourful building is IBIS Hong Kong Northpoint Hotel, took these shot from the harbour opposite the hotel.
The hotel room is quite small and cramp but as hubby and me are budget travellers, we tried to save on hotel rates but occassionally we would pampered ourself with luxury hotel stay. It would costs twice the rate for hotels on other parts of Hong Kong especially in Kowloon. The room had recently been renovated and clean. Hubby and me are quite small size so the room is suitable for us.
We booked the room with the view of the harbour.
Took this photo of Kowloon, Hong Kong from the harbour opposite our hotel. We could also able to go to Kowloon via the ferry instead of the MTR train.
Spotted a dog park near the harbour.

Sorry for the small prints, still trying to figure out the best way to make the prints bigger permanently.

We know exactly where your hotel is, it was not open when we were last in Hong Kong, as it is not far from where our daughter lives. A good position for sightseeing.

I think you have to set the print every blog post, other wise it reverts to the Default font for the template you are using.

Hi Lindy, thanks for the advice. Will try to remember to set the template for the front. That place is good to wander around and see how the locals live and did their marketing.
