Hong Kong - 2004

Beautiful scenery of Hong Kong with the nice building in the back ground. It is a pity that Hong Kong has become so hazy so unlike from the very first time when I visited in 1983. The city is shrouded in smog and people can barely see across the famous Victoria Harbour.
Hong Kong is so crowded now.

But then I still like to go to Hongkong for their shopping. Food wise I think I still love my Singapore food...hahaha.

This is the Avenue of Stars in Hongkong which is to pay tribute to outstanding professionals of Hong Kong's film industry, to promote tourism industry, and to consolidate Hong Kong's position as Asia's World City, the Avenue of Stars is located at the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade.
This is a baby shark emerging out of the egg. It looked so cute.
But not cute when the grow into adult size.
Saw these sharks in the underwater aquarium in Ocean park, Hongkong.

Alice - I really enjoyed your previous blog about the Wishing Tree. I think I would try to toss at least one wish into the tree.

The pictures of the harbor in Hongkong are very interesting. I imagine any large city in the world now days has a lot of pollution. That is too bad. And the Avenue of Stars is quite unique and pretty. That statue of the person looks real. It is a statue, isn't it??

Yes it is a statue. Hong Kong is a nice place except that it is very hazy now. Thanks for dropping by my blog.

Hi Alice,
Indeed, it looks like many scyscrapers sprout up all over. It's quite dense on the water front but still looks nice.
The photo of the baby shark is amazing! As you said cuter than in the adult size ;-)

Hi Alice, here I am trying to recapture your last posts on my weekly visit… ;) And loved to see Hong-Kong again. It seems they have changed Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade since my last time there in 2002! Have to get back... ;)
Thanks for your comments at Blogtrotter. As you know, I’m still strolling around the streets of Sofia.
Have a great weekend!
