Day 6 - Osaka/Kyoto/Kobe Trip 2017 - Visit to The Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum in Ikeda, Osaka, Japan

We two old folks are not into theme park, so did not visit Universal Studio, but we do like some fun, so decided to visit Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum in Ikeda.

From Umeda Station, we took the Hankyu Takarazuka Line (approximately a 20 min. ride from Hankyu Umeda Station via express train) to Ikeda Station. Acess to Platform 4,5 or 6, remember to take the express train and not the local train as the local train stops at every station while the express train skips few stations so journey faster.

Once we tap at the gantry gate with our IC Card, we turn right and head to the escalator on the right.

Take the escalator to street level and turn right and from the street, there is a big red signboard diagonally on the opposite side.

Crosed over and walked towards the big red signboard and follow the arrow and walked all the way straight down about 5 mins to Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum.

Easy to spot the museum with the statue of the founder infront of the museum.

Very exciting about the whole process of creatng our own completely original CUPNOODLES package.

Firstly, we purchase an empty cup at 300 yen from the vending machine.

Sterilized our hands while the crew will protect the cup with a plastic cover so that the cup will not be dirty inside.

We then can draw, design, and coloured our cups. There's even sample pictures for us to copy.

After we were satisfied with our creativeness, we proceed to the counter to select our favorite soup from among four varieties and four toppings from among 12 ingredients. Altogether, there are 5,460 flavor combinations.

After all the excitement and completion of selecting our ingredients and our cups sealed, we could keep the cup in inflatable bags. So cute and fun.
