Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar Trip 2024 - Day 11 - Valencia to Barcelona

Day 11, time to travel back to Barcelona. As usual, we had our lunch at rest stop after several hours of travelling.

This time, the rest stop is above the expressway.

After lunch, time to travel again, looking forward to be back in Barelona.

Morning Breakfast at Eurostars Acteon Hotel in Valencia.

Checking out of the hotel after breakfast, did some photo taking at City of Art and Sciences - one of the largest scientific and cultural complexes in Europe.

The building is so beautiful, it looked like the fish bone.

Day 10 Hotel stay at Eurostars Acteon in Valencia City. Very clean and cozy hotel. So far, most of the hotels we stayed are four stars and very nice hotel except for the hotel in Granada which is a bit dated but their buffets are great.

We had a triple bed room for two of us.

Nice sitting area but we fall alseep after taking bath cause we were so tired from the whole day travelling.

Mini bar is full but need to pay for the items.

Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar trip 2024 - Day 10 - Valencia City and Seafood Paella Dinner

Day 10 - finally reach Valencia at night. Long traffic jam. No sight of any previous flooding. I guessed all the clean up done.

Straight to dinner near the beach for Seafood Paella. Paella is a Classic spanish rice dish.

Very nice dining display for our dinner with red wine.

Tonight's dinner was Seafood Paella

Our guide order Rabbit Paella out of his of his own pocket money for us to try rabbit's meat.

Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar Trip 2024 - Day 10 - Granada to Valencia - Lunch at rest stop

After the morning sightseeing, time for another long bus ride to Valencia from Granada. For our lunch, we had it at a rest stop. Saw some snow on the top of mountain, is almost winter, very cold on the road trip. We were well prepared for winter, with thick jackets, warmer, socks, heat pack, etc. We also had thermal flask with hot water in the coach incase we feel cold. Feel our flask at hotel or rest stop.

Very happy to find noodles in this rest stop. Missed having noodles for so long. 

All the dishes in this rest stop suited our taste buds. 

Had a good meal and time to set out to Valencia. The place where it was flooded badly two weeks before we supposed to reach Spain. We were so lucky when we arrived Spain, not a single drop of rain. Very blessed.
