Day 6 , we would stay in Hotel Mercure in Lisboa, Portugal for 2 nights. Something bad happened during one of our morning breakfast. We heard some commotion from a China tourist in a tour group (not our group), she lost her handbag (passport, money and handphone) all gone in a matter of seconds.
It happened right in the hotel cafeteria where we had our breakfast, she left her bag behind her on the chair, the moment she stand to turn around to get her bag, her bag was gone. Oh my god. Sad to say, there's many pickpockets in Spain and Portugal, our tour guide keep reminding us to be careful of our belongings. (More pickpockets stories to tell as I go along with my postings).
The hotel room were very clean and cozy.
Most hotels dont provide toothbrushes and toiletries except shampoo and bath. Neither was there any bedroom slippers. We brought our own.
