Bali Trip 2014 - Day 3 - Kintamani Volcano - Mount Batur

Next stop was visit to Mt Batur Volcano, Kintamani, need to pay entrance fee of RP5,000 each to visit Kintamani Volcano . We had lunch in a restaurant with a nice view of Mount Batur but we had many little visitors hahaha. It was a buffet lunch that costs 129,000 RP, can choose to order ala carte from the menu. Our little visitors are the numerous houseflies that fly around the table and food. We really had no choice but to eat here if not the next stop at Ubud Center was 3 pm.

Mt Batur is an active volcano and the blackened portion(resulted from the hot flowing lava from the previous huge eruption) on the field is still evident.

Sometimes on very cloudy day, the top part of the volcano cannot be seen.

The buffet food looked so sumptous and delicious till you noticed all the flies flying about hahaha. Tips: Dont use the top most plate cause most houseflies will rest on the top most plates and take only hot food at the bottom nearer to the heat. Result, did not suffer any food poisoning from my Bali Trip :).

Enjoyed having lunch and viewing the scenery from the restaurant, really fantastic.
