Our next stop is in Ubud, it was originally important as a source of medicinal herbs and plants; Ubud gets its name from the Balinese word ubad (medicine).
We visited the Ubud Palace which does not required any admission fees but we only saw the main compound and the exterior of the palace, most of the interior were prohibited to visitors
Sign in mandarin meant "NO ENTRY"
Opposite the palace was the market place where there's lots of activities. Things were sold cheaply here but still you need to bargain well for your purchases.
