Bali 2014 - Day 1 - Adhi Jaya Hotel in Kuta (opposite Discovery Mall)

This is the first time that we visited Bali. Decided to stay at Adhi Jaya Hotel which is just opposite Discovery Mall in Kuta. Location is very convenient and about 10 mins drive from Bali Airport.

Is a small cozy hotel with 5 star service. The staff are always smiling and friendly and very very helpful. In doubts you can ask them for help or information about Bali.

The swimming pool is a bit small.

It is something like the chalets in Downtown East in Singapore. They dont have lifts, so if you do not want to climb stairs, get the deluxe room on the ground floor cause all the standard rooms are on the second storey.

We booked two rooms and they are interconnecting. Best to request for the quiet rooms cause the lounge opened till 3am, may be noisy if your room is near the lounge.

Drop our bags in the room and headed immediately to the hotel's restaurant known as The Beras Merah Waroeng & Lounge. The restaurant served very good food, would recommended you to try especially the indonesia food. The restaurant is opened to the public who are not guests of the hotel.

We ordered the 1 metre long satay (for 2 people), the satay were served together with songs and drums, so interesting (see video).

Cannot remember the name of this dish, I think is fried rice with seafood.

The soup and water spinach comes as a set together with the satay including fruits too.
