Taiwan Trip - Day 4 - Jiufen

The old street of Jiufen is located just beside the only seven eleven supermart there.

Did not take much photos cause my last trip took lots of photos and the raining weather is not helping either. Too wet and cold to concentrate on photo taking hahaha. You can view more photos from my previous trip.

Had lunch at the same restaurant with a nice view.

Cost of lunch was NT1000 for four of us. The food was served steamy hot , really so yummy.

Black pepper beef rice set

Three cups chicken

Had the famous Jiufen taro balls.

Decided to take bus back to Ruifang Station, we just crossed over the road from the seven eleven Supermarket. The bus stop is diagonally opposite seven eleven and next to the pastry shop. Easy to spot the new bus stop, it had grey shelter. Took bus 1062 from Jiufen to Ruifang Station (journey is about 15 mintures. Bus fare is NT15, this bus also goes all the way to Taipei Main Station but will take longer time, the train is much faster, so decided to take the train back to Tapei Main Station from Ruifang Station.

Bought the train tickets for Ruifang Station to Taipei Main Station. We asked for the Tze Chiang Train which is faster and comfortable. The ticket costs NT76 per person.

We were so tired on reaching Cityinn Hotel Branch 3, went straight to the kitchen to get some hot coffee and were greeted by this box of delicious cake that looked like our kueh lapis, at first we thought was free snack from the hotel hahaha but they were actually samples for us to try. They were promoting the sale of the cake. It really tasted good but we did not order any cause back home we can get the same type of cakes.
