Seoul and Busan Trip 2013 - Day 3 - Jagalchi Market Part 1 - Street Scene 1

As mentioned in earlier post, the nice mini bus lady driver alert us to alight at this alley and with her hand gesture and korean language directed us to walk all the way straight through this alley to Jagalchi Market but my good sense of directions and looking at the map and the sighting of some ships at one of the side alley I think we need to turn left to the alley to the market as according to the map, Jagalchi Market is near the port. I am so right otherwise I had to walk a long way if I would to walk to the end of the alley as directed by the driver. At the end of the alley we could view Gamcheon Culture Village. If you are coming out of Jagalchi Station (Busan subway line 1), Exit 10, then turn right onto Jagalchi 3(sam)-gil Street and walk for 5min, then turn left to arrive at Jagalchi Market as per source.

The alley leading to Jagalchi Market is filled with lots of stalls selling all kinds of stuff but most stalls sold mainly seafood.

Wow the leek was big and huge, double the size of the leek found back in our markets in Singapore.

Korea is famous for their pots and pans especially the Happy Call Pan (I found the Happy Call Pan sold in Lotte Mart Seoul much cheaper than sold in Singapore, will talked about this when I post about Seoul.)

Lots of eateries in the alley and doubt they can speak other languages except Korean but am sure can order the food by pointing to the food they sold openly.

Next post more photos of the fishes sold in the alley, good place for photographers to take photos of the street scene.
