We had daily buffet breakfast at Cititel Penang where we stayed. The buffet is so good with so much varieties.
Japanese Corner with Japanese curry and rice.
Porridge Corner
Hubby scooping some porridge. There are plain porridge and every morning there will be another different porridge either with fish or chicken. There's chi kut teh (chicken herbal soup) too something like our bak kut teh (spare ribs herbal soup).
Pastry section - yummy
Main courses are always different every morning.
Noodle section - you get to make your own soup noodle
This is the Indian section where they served indian food and vegetarian dishes. Every morning the chef will fry something different. The first morning when we were there, the chef fried some carrot cake, another morning it was thosai (as in the below photo) and the 3rd morning it was roti canai.
Ooooo, putu mayam - a kind of Indian dish which consists of some kind of noodle with grated coconut and brown sugar. My favourite.
This is mine - very simple - some fried mee hoon, teochew mee swa and fried potatoes - do not like too much curry in the morning.
Hubby had japanese curry and the local curry with his noodles...lol
