Penang Malaysia - Kek Lok SI Temple Part 7 - Strolling around Ayer Itam

PLEASE ASK PERMISSION BEFORE YOU RE POST MY PHOTOS ON TO YOUR BLOG. THERE ARE SOME BLOGGERS WHO DID NOT ASK MY PERMISSION AND REPOST MY PHOTOS WITHOUT THE COURTESY OF LINKING BACK TO MY BLOG. THIS IS LIKE STEALING. PEOPLE, I HAVE SPEND MUCH TIME TAKING PHOTOS AND DOING HOMEWORK ON MY TRAVELLING INFORMATION AND KINDLY SHARE THESE INFORMATION TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THEM. IF NECESSARY I WILL POST SCREEN SHOT OF YOUR BLOG TO SHOW YOUR BAD MANNERS OF STEALING MY PHOTOS. THE MOST DISGUSTING THING THEY DID WAS TO SCREEN SHOT MY PHOTO AND CORP OFF MY BLOG TITLE FROM MY PHOTO AND REPOST THEM IN THEIR BLOG.

After visiting Kek Lok Si Temple, we made our way down to the foot of the hill. We strolled around the area.

We saw the most famous Penang Assam Laksa at the foot of the hill in Ayer Itam. The laksa is so different from Singapore Laksa. The Penang Assam Laksa has a sour taste while Singapore Laksa is more spicy.

The stall is located below the huge sign that said FOLLOW ME.

Did you manage to find the Laksa Stall in the above photo?

Saw many food vendors in the streets of Ayer Itam.

Saw a familar brand of Cheong Kum Chuan. They sell mostly nutmeg products. I bought some bottles of the nutmeg oil which my family had been using since we were young.

This is one of the only few bus stops that indicated the number of the buses that pass through here. Most bus stops in Penang do not have any signs to indicate which bus number will pass the bus stop.
