Penang Malaysia-Famous Penang Biscuits

PLEASE ASK PERMISSION BEFORE YOU RE POST MY PHOTOS ON TO YOUR BLOG. THERE ARE SOME BLOGGERS WHO DID NOT ASK MY PERMISSION AND REPOST MY PHOTOS WITHOUT THE COURTESY OF LINKING BACK TO MY BLOG. THIS IS LIKE STEALING. PEOPLE, I HAVE SPEND MUCH TIME TAKING PHOTOS AND DOING HOMEWORK ON MY TRAVELLING INFORMATION AND KINDLY SHARE THESE INFORMATION TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THEM. IF NECESSARY I WILL POST SCREEN SHOT OF YOUR BLOG TO SHOW YOUR BAD MANNERS OF STEALING MY PHOTOS. THE MOST DISGUSTING THING THEY DID WAS TO SCREEN SHOT MY PHOTO AND CORP OFF MY BLOG TITLE FROM MY PHOTO AND REPOST THEM IN THEIR BLOG.

We managed to find the factory that sold the famous Penang Biscuits or what the locals called Penang Tau Sar Piah also known as mung bean pastry. It is so tasty and yummy. We bought a few boxes then we realised they were so heavy so we did not return to visit the Sun Yat Sen Musuem after lunch hours...lol. We went back to the hotel to rest after walking for so long. Near the shop is a bus stop with no bus numbers on them but managed to take Bus no. 101 back to Cititel Hotel.

There are so many companies selling the Penang famous biscuits but I thought the biscuits baked by Ghee Hiang are very tasty and good.

They have a history of 155 years. You can see more of their products from their official website.

Outside the shop are these super cute dolls. I wasted no time taking photos and posing with them. :) They have many branches all over Penang, the one I went to was at 216 Macalister Road10400 PenangMalaysia. It is diagonally opposite the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall or few streets away from Lorong Selamat. By the way Sun Yat Memorial Hall is about two bus stops away from Komtar. You can take Bus no. 101 (the bus that I am very familar with...lol). Am sure there are other buses but the time interval for service bus no. 101 is about 7 minutes so you can assure that you dont to wait long for service no. 101.
